(3) Includes a 300 EUR registration fee and payable together with the first installment of the tuition fee. Tuition fee includes the mid-year examinations but does not include the cost of medical insurance, textbooks and compulsory auxiliary materials
(4) Payable by the date specified in the acceptance letter. For students who need a visa, the tuition fee is payable in full with the first installment.

Refund Policy
I. Prior registration (prior start of campus or online studies)
  1. Non-refundable: EUR 200 application processing fee or the entrance processing fee
  2. Refundable: 100% all other payments.*
* in case of visa application the tuition fee is refundable if
  • the visa was rejected
  • the visa was revoked by the Hungarian Embassy
  • the visa application was cancelled during the procedure
II. After registration* (In case of onsite or online studies)
  1. There is no refund.
  2. Special consideration: part of the tuition fee can be refunded if the studies are interrupted due to the death of a parent / guardian, or due to a military service obligation.
    The refund is applicable from the first day of the month after reporting one of the above events, and submitting official documentary evidence.
    1. Non-refundable:
      • EUR 1000 tuition fee,
      • EUR 200 application processing fee or the entrance processing fee,
      • EUR 300 registration fee.
    2. Refundable: proportionate costs are refundable according to the refund policy described above.
    3. After the first month no refund can be claimed
  3. Students are not entitled to a refund of the tuition fee if they are obliged to discontinue their studies for academic or disciplinary reasons.
    * Registration is completed by signing the Agreement form.
Award of Excellence
McDaniel College Budapest offers an Award of Excellence (tuition fee refund) for excellent students. The tuition fee refund is 10% of the full tuition fee.

Eligibility and Criteria:
  • Enrollment to the English Pre-Medical Track
  • Grade A in all subjects.
To achieve all A-s, students in the Two-Semester Pre-Medical Track need to maintain steady performance, attend all classes, write all weekly/bi-weekly tests in all subjects, and pass all written and oral exams with merit until the end of the first semester. Students are eligible for the refund in the second semester.

To achieve all A-s, students in the One-Semester Intensive Pre-Medical Track need to maintain steady performance, attend all classes, write all weekly/bi-weekly tests in all subjects, and pass all written and oral exams with merit until the midterm exams. Students are eligible for the refund before the end of the semester.
